Unit 3

Unit 3 was all about looking at jobs that are to do with the media sector. For example, the jobs that were listed were

 

Graphic designer 

Game designer 

Print designer 

Web design 

Logo designer 

Brand identity design 

E-sports.

I had to pick three jobs that might interest me the most and them three jobs were, game designer, graphic designer and e-sports. At the time I thought they were the best ones. then I had to write about a range or working practices and methods for the role and why I would be best suited for the job. 

​

After completing a swot analysis to determine my strengths and weaknesses for the job, I had to create a CV which would highlight my strengths to a possible employer.

Unit 4 

Unit was about getting my product to communicate with the audience.

some tasks were about what genre my product should be in and what codes and conventions i have used to help get my message across to the audience.

 

First I had to critically compare a range of perspectives that my product is trying to communicate with the audience. Then I had to choose a genre that my app would fit into. after this i had to mention what codes and conventions i will use to try and get my messages to the audience and then i would provide examples of these.

Moving on, next I had to critically compare a range of contexts from my app designs and features from those apps created in 1993. I  did this by researching a range of apps that were in 1993 and comparing them to my app that I had designed. Lastly, I had to detail the range of contextual parameters my app provides.
